Position Title: 3rd Shift First Pressman

Department: Press


Position Summary
We are looking for a 3rd shift First Pressman, who must be able to keep our quality standards, at speeds in line or faster than the estimate.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Press operator for 6 color Komori and large format KBA.
• Ability to read and follow job instructions from the job tickets.
• Is capable of meeting quality while producing the job at high speeds.
• All jobs must be continuously inspected during production to ensure high quality is maintained.
• Ability to safely use, load, make adjustments, and clear jams.
• Promote a team environment by working in a courteous and positive manner with other employees.
• Keep work area clean and neat.
• Keep press maintained and in good working order.
• Must be willing and flexible about working overtime when needed.
• Must be willing to accept other duties that may be assigned.
• Perform within standard operating procedures.


REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required

Position Title: CSR

Department: Office


Position Summary
Perform as a liaison between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our print services. Provide client service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of order information. Ensures and provides quality service to internal and external customers alike.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process incoming orders received from Sales or Client within five business hours of receipt of complete job specifications.
• Confirm all project specifications match the client-approved estimate. If specs do not match, contact Sales, and have project estimated correctly.
• Discuss project timing and press availability with the Scheduling Department.
• Determine job efficiencies and make change recommendations to Sales, Manufacturing, and the Scheduling Department.
• Schedule and facilitate new project pre-production meetings with Manufacturing for large or detailed projects.
• Produce Direct Mail job instructions from client specifications and verify postal requirements.
• Communicate required postage for Direct Mail projects and payment requests to Client, as well as any special requests to Manufacturing.
• Create, price, and communicate changes on orders to Sales and Client and Manufacturing.
• Responsible for management of outside vendors.
• Responsible for proof approval process with Sales and Clients.
• Track and communicate progress of all jobs to Sales and Client.
• Coordinate product distribution through the Shipping Department and confirm final delivery date with Sales and Client.
• Review and approve order samples prior to being sent to Sales and/or Client.
• Maintain Client project files.
• Document Client complaints and facilitate company corrective action when applicable.
• Alert Sales & Sr. Management to any conditions within the company that may lead to a Client’s dissatisfaction.
• Complete billing of order within 48 hours of shipping or within predetermined timeline specified by Sales, Client, or Management.
• Participates and provides expertise as a member of the Client Services team to help ensure objectives are developed and recommends changes to existing methods and systems to increase accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness of the Client Service Department as a whole.
• All other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

• College degree preferably in Print Management or related field.
• 5 + years’ experience in production planning/customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products, with emphasis on Excel.
• Working knowledge of prepress, offset, and digital printing processes.
• Mail personalization and postal procedure knowledge.
• Ability to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to take initiative and need little supervision.
• Ability to be proactive in anticipating and communicating project issues with internal departments including Sales.




Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic 

Department: Maintenance


Position Summary
We are looking for a a Maintenance Mechanic (Electrician) to join our Team. Ideal candidate must have hands on experience with electrical troubleshooting, drives, PLC's and control circuits. Candidate must be able to read schematics, troubleshoot and solve problems related to electrical and mechanical equipment


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• High and low voltage electrical troubleshooting and ability to read schematics 

• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting 

• Test and troubleshoot motors and motor starters 

• Knowledge of industrial electrical, running pipe and pulling wires, installing proper size breakers 

• Electrical and Mechanical problem solving 

• General mechanical troubleshooting, repair and modifications 

• Experience in Printing or Printing related field 

• Basic Chiller and HVAC experience a plus 

• Preventive maintenance and record keeping 

• Plumbing and carpentry skills, to do basic building repairs


REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED 

• Forklift certified and pass recertification 

• Read, write, and speak English 

• Lift and carry 50 lbs. 

• Stand and walk more than 4 hours/day 

• Contribute to a safe working environment and be able to work with others, must be able to follow direction and also be self-motivated 

• Must be able to work overtime and weekends when necessary. Some on call required 

• Must be able to communicate effectively 

• Basic computer skills




Position Title: 3rd shift second man/feeder

Department: Press


Position Summary
We are looking for a 3rd shift second man/feeder, who is capable of assisting the running of an offset printing press at speeds determined by the first pressman.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 6 color Komori experience needed. 56" KBA experience a plus.
• Ability to read and follow job instructions accurately from a job ticket.
• Is capable of meeting quality standards and maintaining required production
• All jobs must be continually inspected during production to make sure high quality is maintained.
• Ability to safely load, make adjustments and clear jam ups.
• Must be able to hang plates, replace blankets and keep jobs in register.
• Promote a team environment by working in a courteous and positive manner with other employees.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Keep press maintained, and in good working condition.
• Must be willing and flexible about working overtime when needed.
• Must be willing to accept other duties that maybe assigned.
• Operate with in operating procedures.

This position requires an in-depth understanding of print production processes with a passion for sales and relationship development. Candidates should ideally have at least 5 years experience in print sales and proven sales results.
